I have recently accepted the Assistant Director's position at CCLC. I hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, and I'm in the process of completing training towards a Director's Credential. I've worked in the Early Childhood field for about 6 years. I have three children, a daughter and two sons.
The Concern Child Learning Center (CCLC) was specifically established to provide quality, early childhood development to children of low-income working parents. CCLC's tuition is the lowest in Washington County and families that receive subsidies from DHS or Tribal Nations as well as private pay families are welcome at CCLC. A multi-child discount is also available. The children and the parents themselves, deserve no less than the best care which will not only nurture and educate the children in a safe environment but also enable parents to pursue a livelihood for the families.
Our goal is to help each child reach his or her full potential through a variety of stimulating and challenging activities in a Christian atmosphere. CCLC offers a program of small learning groups, informal play, and field trips which will prepare them to be ready to learn when they enter public school. It is a program based on the philosophy of helping children become all that they can be and, in the process, become stronger members of the next generation.
I have worked in the education field in several capacities for over 20 years. I have obtained my Associate in Applied Science in Child Development, my Certificate of Mastery in Child Development and I have Director's Credentials for Oklahoma and the State of Florida. I am originally from Southeast Kansas and have lived in the Bartlesville area for 18 years. Working with children is my passion and I take pride in being a part of their learning process at such an important stage in their life.
